Silvestre, who worked in the service industry, was known for her beautiful smile and contagious laugh, her obituary reads.
Her Facebook page says she worked at Linda's Driftwood Bar & Grill in Linden.
She is survived by her husband, Virgilio, her children, Jo-Ann, Andrew and Michael, her granddaughters, Sofia and Olivia, her parents, Joan and Michael and numerous relatives and friends, according to her obituary.
A funeral was held on Friday, June 30 at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church in Elizabeth.
